Rupali Ganguly to QUIT Anupamaa after 4 years? Here’s what we know

Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa has been one of the most loved shows on Indian Television. A few days ago, there was news of Alisha Parveen getting fired from the sets of the film. Now, as per the latest news, the lead actress Rupali will be exiting the show soon.

Alisha Parveen was replaced by Adrija Roy in the show. As per the source close to Time Now confirmed that Rupali Ganguly will also be quitting Anupamaa soon. She was trolled by several netizens for allegedly being responsible for the exits of several cast members. A source revealed, “Rupali Ganguly will be quitting Anupamaa in the next three months. The makers introduced a big 15-year leap to introduce new lead characters like Shivam Khajuria and Adrija Roy. Once the makers develop a strong love angle between Prem and Rahi, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) will exit the show.”

The source added, “Her exit can happen anytime in the next three months. Currently, the makers are focusing on a love triangle between Prem, Rahi, and Maahi. Hence, Rupali’s scenes have been reduced from the episode.”

Rupali reacts to Alisha Parveen’s exit from Anupamaa

Earlier, Rupali was accused of Alisha Parveen’s exit from the show. The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress stated to ABP News, “I have no authority over casting decisions or other major show developments. Such matters are entirely handled by Rajan Shahi and the channel. I’ve always prioritised professionalism and dedicated myself to this show for the last five years.”

Anupamaa stars Varun Kasturia, Alpana Buch, Miloni Kapadia, Manish Naggdev, Krutika Desai and others in key roles. The show has so far witnessed the exit of Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, Nidhi Shah, Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma, Aurra Bhattnagar and Alisha Parveen.
